Resin 3D Printing

Resin 3D printing (MSLA) in Verona and the surrounding province, when detail matters more than anything. Where filament printing reaches its limits, resin delivers: razor-sharp lines, smooth surfaces, and details so fine they’re hard to believe they came from a machine.

When you need it

Miniatures and figures

Characters, figurines, scale models where every detail must be visible. Resin captures details that filament would lose.

Aesthetic and display pieces

Objects that need to look good up close: design prototypes, display pieces, components where a smooth finish makes the difference.

Precision and complex geometries

Intricate shapes, precise fits, geometries that must meet tight tolerances. Where the part needs to be exact, not just similar.

…and everything that needs to be flawless up close.

How it works, in two lines

Instead of a spool of filament, here there is a vat of liquid resin and a screen that projects UV light from below. The light solidifies the resin exactly where needed, one paper-thin layer at a time, and the part emerges from the liquid as it is pulled up by the platform.

Layers so thin that the surface comes out almost glossy, with a level of detail that the filament cannot achieve.

Detail has a price (but it's worth it)

Resin is more delicate to work with and finish than filament, and the parts are smaller. But when you need that level of finish, there’s no comparison. And if a part is too large for resin, we’ll tell you right away whether it’s better to make it with filament or split it up—so you don’t find out when it’s finished.

We always tell you which technology is right for what you need. Even when it isn't ours.

What we can print

We work with a range of resins, selected based on what the part needs to do:

Standard resinsMaximum aesthetic definition, ideal for figures, prototypes, and display pieces.
Hard / tough resinsStronger and more durable, for items that need to hold more than just a shelf.
Soft / flexible resinsFor parts that need to have a certain elasticity and bend without breaking.
High resolutionOur machine works in ultra-high definition: fine detail is second nature.

What we need from you

Just like with filament printing: a ready-made 3D file is ideal. If you don't have one or if the model needs to be adjusted to capture the detail of the resin, we'll take care of it — it's part of the job.
